Loot

So, at 1 year and 1 day old, I aquired quite the stash.  Here’s what mommy remembers:

  • “Grandson” ornament from Grandma (quite cute, you know)
  • Socks, a cute bulldog sweatshirt and matching sweatpants from Grandma
  • Play food from aunt Carrie: veggies and icecream supplies (added to my fruit collection - I’m getting quite a setup here!  Maybe I’ll start a restaurant!  It could be called Drool Express!!!)
  • Two books from aunt-cousin Juanita, totally cool ones; one has a little fingerpuppet built right in, and one has holes cut out so that the book becomes face masks!
  • About four books from Grandma and Grandpa, very nice.  I like reading time.
  • Another book from aunt Carrie - this one is super neat and is called My Very First Book of Color and it has split pages to teach me to match my colors with pictures.  Very cool.
  • Three Veggie Tales movies from Grandma and Grandpa.
  • Mommy and Daddy got me this neato toy that’s a Birdbath with all sorts of fun activities on it.  Mommy has no clue why these people are selling this toy for this much money unless Fisher Price doesn’t make it anymore and people really want it, in which case, the $8.00 she paid when she found it on craigslist was kinda a steal.
  • Mommy and Daddy also got this from the same craigslist lady: The VTech ABC Food Fun Fridge also a pretty killer deal at $3.  LOL
  • Finally, Mommy and Daddy, from the same cool lady (getting the picture?) aquired this neat little drum, which makes a noise when you hit the top, OR, when it rolls around on the floor.  Also purchased for $3 or $4 - I think Mommy and Daddy made off like bandits.
  • My great aunt Janet and uncle Al got me a cool wooden train set for when I’m a little bit older; Mommy is saving it because one day, I’ll be bored with all the stuff that’s out now, and she can distract me with it!  They also got me a really cute onesie with Christmas stuff on it!

Mommy can’t remember anything else; her brain hurts!  But basically, suffice it to say, I got spoiled!  Mommy feels dumb for not writing down my birthday party presents list, but maybe those things will come to her brain another day.
